Lovely traces of red & gold paint...by design I left these intact...they add tremendous character & beauty to the piece!!
Piece has been meticulously cleaned & sealed to preserve the patina & protect it from the elements
Very rare design,, the knocker handle has a vertical drop design from the mouth before becoming a ring! That is extremely rare & gives the piece a fantastic look!!
Very detailed casting, I love the whisker dimples in the nose!

MOUNTING DETAILS
*fits a door 1 1/2”-1 3/4” thick
*it could go on a thicker door you would need to drill holes to countersink deeper for the washer & nut
*you will need 4 holes in your door, 2 for the threaded mounting rods & 2 to recess the shoulder area of the threaded rods so the knocker will lay flush to the door...an easy task for a locksmith, handyman or carpenter!
*I restored the threads on the mounting rods, the nuts are solid & secure!
